Welcome
to the Greater Vernon Multi-Use Facility where sports and recreation excellence
takes place year round!
The NHL and International sized rink provides all
Skating, Ringette and Hockey opportunities and serves as the home of
the Vernon Vipers
and visiting teams of the BCHL. The Multi-Use Facility, however, is
more than just an icerink. There is a boardroom , and the "Grand
Room" that suit meetings, banquets and birthday parties perfectly.
As well, the ice can be easily transformed to accommodate an array of
events such as concerts, dances and even rodeos. With 3006 seats and
standing room for approximately 500, there have been some loud crowds
here!
When the ice comes out from May to September, the
facility houses Junior and Senior Lacrosse games and tournaments, as
well as ball hockey and rollerblading. The wrap-around mezzanine or
"upper concourse" is used everyday by walking enthusiasts
and can be used to house additional exhibits during large Trade
Shows and Conventions or all of the exhibits during smaller events.
The lower parking lot is used twice weekly in the
Spring and Summer for the Vernon Farmers' Market and can be used for
trade shows, "karting" events and much more.
The sky is the limit
for what activities and events the Multi-Use Facility can offer!
All entrances to the concourse level of the arena
are wheelchair accessible. Designated disabled parking is available
on the arena access road, near Door C, opposite the Dairy Bar Restaurant.
An elevator is available inside the arena to provide access between
levels. Disabled seating is available at various locations around the
arena concourse. The arena is equipped with an in-house listening device
system for the hearing impaired.
