Wesbild Centre

Wesbild Centre opened in 2001 and was designed to be more than an ice arena. The ice surface can be either NHL or International sized to accommodate skating, ringette and hockey and is home to the Junior A Vernon Vipers. In the spring and summer, Junior and Senior Lacrosse games and tournaments, as well as ball hockey and in-line hockey take place in Wesbild Centre. The upper concourse is used every day by walking enthusiasts for a “Walk to Puerto Vallarta ”, one of our popular Programs and Events.

Wesbild Centre also has a boardroom and Grand Room to accommodate meetings, trade shows, small banquets and private rentals.

This venue is available year-round for ice events, trade shows, concerts, large community events, dances, family shows and more. Wesbild Centre has hosted The Tragically Hip, George Jones, Lipizzaner Stallions, Bell Making the Cut television program, Vernon Presents

Christmas Craft Fair, Judas Priest in concert, Parelli National Horsemanship Show, and Vernon Viper playoff games.

With 3003 seats and standing room for approximately 500, there have been some loud crowds here! The parking lot accommodates over 600 vehicles. The lower parking lot is used twice weekly from the end of April until the end of October for the Vernon Farmers’ Market and can also be used for trade shows, ‘go-karting’ events and much more.
